The CAT III 1500 V/CAT IV 1000 V True-RMS Fluke 283 FC digital multimeter is ideal for technicians working in DC environments up to 1500 V. Whether you are working with utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) arrays, wind power, electric railway lines or data centres, the Fluke 283 FC improves safety and increases productivity while providing accurate, reliable and reproducible results.
The 283 FC comes with silicone TwistGuard test leads with safety specification TL175-HV CAT III 1500 V/CAT IV 1000 V for working in higher voltage environments without compromising safety, giving you more flexibility when testing voltage, milli voltage, resistance, continuity or capacitance. The backlit LCD display and backlit keypad make it easier to work in different lighting conditions, while the magnetic suspension kit leaves your hands free during testing. The 283 FC also comes with a custom-made carrying case that protects your investment during transport.
